A More Vibrant Singapore Airport Transfer Scene

Posted on: November 23rd, 2013 by Raymond

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong made an exciting announcement on 18th August that Singapore Changi International Airport will build a Terminal 5! Known as T5, Lee said it “sounds like a terminal, but it is actually a whole airport by itself, as big as today’s Changi Airport.”

Changi Airport has been voted this year’s World’s Best Airport by British based consultancy Skytrax. In constructing the new terminal, Lee said Changi Airport will double its capacity and retain its edge as the regional aviation hub. Changi Airport served 51.2 M passengers last year off its three terminals.

Construction of the T5 will commence soon and is envisioned to take up to 15 years.

As exciting as this development is the ripple effect it has on travel-related industries, such as Singapore Airport transfer.

With the new airport terminal, Singapore will be able to usher in a host of business and leisure travellers. PM Lee is also bent on maintaining the status of Changi Airport being the world’s best, especially against close rivals Malaysia’s Kuala Lumpur International Airport and Thailand’s Suvarnabhumi Airport. Necessarily, the service standards of Singapore airport transfer providers must also be at par so as to provide travellers and tourists the same good experience that they’d want to always come back to every time.

What are the service standards for transportation service providers? Here are some:

1) Young Fleet. Singapore airport transfer providers must offer a young fleet of vehicles to ensure the safety and comfort of the passengers. The vehicles must be well-maintained to avoid road mishaps or unnecessary delays.

2) Top Models. Either chartering a Toyota Alphard or a Merz S Class, Singapore airport transfer providers owe it to their passengers to provide top-of-the-line limousine services that offer comfort and luxury.

3) Express Booking. Travelling requires a lot of booking, and missing one booking will certainly affect the travel itinerary. The last thing travellers want is the hassle of not being able to get a ride, more so, to catch a flight! Transport providers must have the facility of express booking by phone or online to make things convenient and hassle-free for the busy traveller.

4) Courteous Chauffeurs. The chauffeurs must be well-versed with Singapore’s inroads and other road policies to be able to give passengers an assurance of on-time arrival to their meetings or events. Chauffeurs are also courteous and will treat each passenger with utmost respect, at all times ensuring that the passenger’s requests are satisfied.

5) Finally, competitive rates. Singapore airport transfer companies must be aware of the need to constantly improve so that passengers won’t feel short-changed they had to shell out more for a ride from the airport to their hotel when on a chartered maxicab or limousine service.

Nothing compares to the comfort and exclusivity of being in a chartered limousine service during your airport transfer. Contact us today for your airport transfer needs and we will be happy to assist you! Happy travels!
